$90.00 is a very expensive for an oil change and tire rotation, especially for a senior on a fixed income. Other than that the staff and timely service was great.

The Service Staff was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. The Service Manager did not try to oush unnecessary services, but did advise on upcoming reccomended services and their actual cista for future consideration.

I realize that upselling products and services are a part of the business that your service department is involved with when bringing our vehicles in for service. We brought in our 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer (that we purchased at Jeff Schmitt North in March 2024) for routine oil/oil filter change and tire rotation on May 15, 2026. Your service writer, Ryan S. suggested a cabin air filter and an engine filter that Ryan mentioned that GM suggests should be replaced between 20,000 and 30,000 miles. I declined, telling Ryan that the Trailblazer was still below 20,000 miles and that it could wait until the next scheduled oil change and still be within the recommended range. My wife had a doctor appointment soon, so we did not wait in your waiting room. About a half hour later I received a phone call from Ryan who strongly suggested that we change both filters. I said that we would probably be back to the dealership in one hour, but Ryan offered to send photos via cell phone to us to show the condition of the filters. So, I don't know why I agreed to the change, but I gave Ryan the "go-ahead" to change them both at $79.95 for one filter and $89.95 for the other. When we arrived at the dealership, Ryan reviewed the invoice (#783510) and I asked to see the filters as the photos he had sent were not really conclusive as the filters were being changed earlier than the recommended mileage. Ryan left his desk to retrieve the filters and came back a few minutes later saying that the mechanic had discarded them and took them to the dumpster. Ryan was laughing about it, but I was not amused and told him so. I reminded Ryan that all repair shops are required to show or give the replaced parts to the customer. He again blew it off and I was not happy about it. He began apologizing, but his apologies were shallow as he could have insisted to the mechanic to retrieve the parts. I am left feeling that the filters were not all that bad, and that they may not have been as forthcoming about it as they would want me to believe. I have the photos that Ryan had sent. I do like that your Service Department is conveniently close by, and I feel like I might be better served at the Service Department at White Allen Chevrolet where I purchased a new 2021 Chevrolet Colorado and have it serviced there exclusively. At White Allen, the service team there ALWAYS treats me with respect, and the only time I had to have a part replaced, they GAVE me the old part and showed me why it needed to be replaced. If you want my business, then it is imperative that I receive a phone call from your manager, or preferably, a phone call from a GM representative to discuss the matter. After all, we received numerous texts and emails wanting to purchase our 2024 Trailblazer as they could see first-hand how well we maintain our Trailblazer. I told Ryan that I was not happy and that instead of becoming upset that I would write a review instead. He again apologized but did nothing about it which was even more upsetting to me.
