We were treated with courtesy, respect and professionalism, from the service advisor Alexa Spicer to the service technicians. She made us aware of a recall and took care of it. Thanks to all, we appreciate your attention to detail. Jim/ Karrol Marcheski

Hello! Along with a couple recalls, we had a Rear Main Seal go out in our Equinox. We bought the car in Oct of 2024 from Jeff Wyler Hyundai. We will never deal with them again. We brought our car to Jeff Schmitt in Fairborn, where Levi and the service team took care of us. We ended up NOT getting the seal fixed at the dealership but, Levi was so considerate throughout the entire process that, when we are ready to buy another car we are 100% coming to Jeff Schmitt in Fairborn.

I was sick but kept my appointment. I am grateful for ease of scheduling at this location. While everyone was professional and cordial I can’t help but notice that there are no familiar faces anymore. I am also haunted by the darkness of the room the cashier used to occupy. Technology eliminating another job? Because I was sick and feeling miserable I asked for no extras, I just wanted to go home. But still my filter was brought out which makes me angry every time. I scheduled a service and I already said that’s all I want. Sales antics from the service dept - I’m sure they are only doing what is expected but I’m tired of being harassed for more money. So the oil change and tire rotation all good. I keep coming back but I still worry with the aggressive sales tactics if my vehicle will suddenly show up with a service need that is a result of technician error. Personnel turnover triggers this worry.

When I arrived they were very busy and I had to wait despite having an appt. The girl seemed stressed out and was saying things wrong and correcting herself. I came in for an oil change and asked her to look when I had a tire rotation last because I usually did every other oil change. She never did that and just put me down to have a tire rotation done anyway. Then she talked about other maintenance things that needed done. I told her it was okay to do the coolant and she never wrote that down so it never got done. I’ve not had an issue in the past with the other people checking me in but overall this time seem chaotic, unprepared and I wasn’t satisfied with how it happened. Thankfully I wasn’t staying to wait on my car or I had a feeling despite an appt would have taken a long time. Then on my car report sheet they wrote that my coolant needed attention but was also good so I’m not sure if it’s an issue or not and no one went over anything with me when I picked up my car. You’d think someone would go through the paper with you to make sure all is well.

I was able to set my appointment on line which I prefer. I dropped the car the day prior to the appointment and got the call early the next day that my car was ready. The service advisors that I worked with were both nice and not pushy. The only complaint I have is that I got a text within an hour of dropping my car off asking if I would like a trade-in quote for it. I simply declined and wasn't bugged again. I do understand that service on a vehicle can be a good lead generation
