Further, Chevrolet will send off the sixth-generation Camaro with a special Final Collector's Edition, highlighted by an exclusive "Panther Black" color and unique design details. If you were hoping for some sort of power or performance upgrade to the final model year of the sixth-generation Camaro, that's not the case. The 2024 Camaro Final Collector's Edition focuses its themes around its original code name for the program, Panther, which eventually became the iconic pony car in 1967.
For LT/RS, LT1, and SS trims, the 2024 Camaro Final Collector's Edition will come exclusively with Panther Black Metallic Tint coat paint, Satin Black accent stripes, 20-inch Satin Black, or optional Polished Forged Wheels.
2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Collector's Edition
If you're going to treat yourself to the top trim, the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Collector's Edition is the one to get. Limited to just 350 units, it comes exclusively in Panther Black Matte, the first and seemingly last matte paint offered on Camaro from the factory.
Further, all 350 Camaro ZL1 Collector's Edition owners will receive a bespoke Shinola Canfield Sport 45mm watch that commemorates this special edition muscle car, with an inscribed serial number that matches the number on their vehicle's steering wheel badge.

According to current rumors, the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro "Panther Black" Collector's Edition will be available on the 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, LT1, 1SS, 2SS, and ZL1 trim levels. Its main trait will be its exclusive colors: Panther Black Metallic Tricoat and Panther Black Matte.
Further 2024 Model Year Updates: 2.0L Turbo Dropped
The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro will continue to be available in a coupe and convertible on LT, LT1, SS, and ZL1 trims, with 1LE remaining an available option on SS and ZL1. However, Chevy is dropping the entry-level 2.0L LTG turbo engine for the 2024 model year. The base engine is now the 3.6L V6, with the 6.2L LT1 being the step up in the LT1 and SS trims, with the supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 reserved for the ZL1 model.
